Tony Allison is an etching artist born in 1946 in Manitoba, Canada. Nowadays, he lives and continues to paint in his hometown Flin Flon in Manitoba. As an independent artist, he had numerous solo exhibitions and commissions in Canada and the United States, mostly between 1969 and 1978. In the group, he participated in the Sir John Cass Spring Exhibition of London in 1967, the Concours de la Palme d'Or Monte Carlo in Monaco, 1973, the Banff Festival of the Arts also in 1973, among others. Now, his paintings are part of permanent collections like the Government and the University of Manitoba, and the Clement Greenberg Collection in New York.
