Tecumseh, born 1768, in Ohio, USA and passed away on October 5, 1813, at Chatham-Kent, Canada; allied his forces with those of the British during the War of 1812. His participation was crucial. On 18 June 1812 when the United States declared war on Britain, Tecumseh went north to find join the British bringing with him about 350 warriors from numerous tribes. According to John Richardson, soldier and writer who met Tecumseh, wrote that Tecumsh had been ‘the real hero of the war!
