Her artistic journey spans over six decades, influencing multiple generations of abstract painters with her ever-evolving creations. Her profound impact is evidenced by numerous retrospective exhibitions held in esteemed institutions like the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Whitney Museum, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Additionally, her work has been showcased globally since the 1950s and was recognized with the National Medal of the Arts in 2001. Many of her masterpieces adorn the collections of the world's most prestigious museums.
