**Josep Baqués** Josep Baqués (1895 - 1967) is a Spanish artist, whose contribution and works in Graphic Design have been recognized nationally and internationally for his creativity, innovation and rigor. After having left his family at the age of 17 and traveled to Germany and France, Josep Baqués returned to Barcelona in 1914 when the war broke out. In 1928, he became a civil servant in the Guàrdia Urbana, the municipal police of the city.
