A very talented cartoonist, Petrus De Man manages to capture the soul of a line of a subject, the essence of a situation. Born in 1955, Petrus De Man describes his first drawings at the age of 17 years. After solid training in St. Lukasinstituut Ghent, he became a teacher himself while pursuing his personal work. Since 1990, his designs are regularly exposed in Belgium and France.
